Sheep Shearing Part 3

This is Moose. Queso Cabesa was shearing and selling whole fleeces at the Cornwells Fiber Festival in Marshall Michigan on Saturday Oct 3 2009. I selected Moose because of his gorgeous dark black fleece. It was an exciting experience to see them shearing the sheep and then to be able to purchase the fleece as soon as it was off the animal. Isn't he gorgeous! I am still amazed at how effortless this shearer makes the whole process look. She told me it takes 500 to 1000 shearings to really get the feel of the whole process to where you can get the shearing done so quickly.
