Love the video all though hard to watch. Lost our Contessa 3 years ago and was devastated. 14 years of joy. so hard to let her go. Swore I would never have another till the wife brought home a new dachshund pup. Can't replace what we lost but the love those dachshunds have can melt your heart and put a smile on your face.The bond is already starting. Thanks for the video and God Bless you and and the family

This is such a beautiful video, and such a beautiful little one. I miss my babies too. We had a beautiful red dachshund named Missy, and her daughter, a long haired black and tan named Ashely. Missy passed in 2001. Ashely was devastated for a couple of years, never stopped looking for Momma. Then back in 2007, we had to put Ashely down, she was 12. My babies... so much love and such big hearts for such tiny dogs.

Thanks for a beautiful tribute. I lost my dachshund Zack April 1st after 15 years. He was my best friend, my shadow, my partner in crime. He was a spitting image of Chippy. I saved this video and watch it often and get tears in my eyes. Everybody always says "you gave him such a good life", I think it's the other way around, he gave me a really good life! Thanks again for this, it helps me everyday.

Love this I got my frist Dachshund Greta Christmas Eve 1985 when I was just a little guy. Loved that dog so much my best friend for 17 1/2 years ... Greta passed away in 2002. We all loved her so much .. So when I turned 30 four years ago and wanted a dog of course I got another little Doxie and that soon turned into Two... thanks for sharing .... Doxie lover .. Jeremy

You gotta love those Dachs. They give so much joy and happiness. They definitely make an imprint on the soul. I bought mine because my friend had one. His passed away a few weeks ago and I have never cried harder.
