Dr. Ebrahim Moosa, professor of Islamic Studies at Duke University, presented the Keynote speech at a lecture entitled 'Judaism and Islam in America: Religion and Legalism'. The event was held at the Mandell Jewish Community Center in West Hartford, CT. The program was part of a 2-day scholarly workshop taking place at Hartford Seminary, where 20 Muslim and Jewish scholars were brought together to speak on various relevant topics for both communities.

This video is part 1, and will be followed by part 2; a response from Arnold Eisen, Chancellor of the Jewish Theological Seminary, and part 3; Q&A from the audience. The introductions and moderation was done by Dr. Ingrid Mattson of Hartford Seminary.
