I always found it hardier to be a child. Being an adult is a breeze.

SO TRUE!!! As a fellow Aspy/hfa (we aren't sure yet) I can relate on all of your statements. You made me feel better now that I know im not alone. Its just me and my counseler now. My dad isn't helpful at all. He denies it fervently. I even showed him a book. I give up on seeking support from him. Sorry for unloading my emotional baggage.

im about 16 or 17 years younger then you (im 19) im quite simular i have aspergers and i really want to make friends i have a few friends but i dont see them allot so often at times i go to the movies or the shopping centre and i find im the only one there by himself and to tell you the truth that kind of pisses me off because everyone else is having a great time with there friends and im alone dont get me wrong im happy for them. i just get worried inrtoducing myself to new peo makifriends

you're so not alone in your experience and circumstance, and you're so right, adults seem to always jump to the questions about what people do for employment, and if you don't fit that mould they are surprised and can't compute. I hope you have enjoyment and pleasures in life enough that simply surviving is not all....
you said you don't know your own talents... but just posting this video is valuable to others and all who watch it.... so that is talent :-)
