first off, i never have tried DuraCoat, and this is not a comparison review.

here's my review of the rust-oleum deep forest spray paint, or as i call it "the poor man's duracoat" i didn't prime or seal any of the knives, i just wanted to test try it on some cheaper knives that don't get much use. i really like the way the paint turned out, i plan on getting more colors and painting some old dirty tools that i have in back like a machete and shovel.

here's some info from the rust-oleum website.
OVERVIEW:
Rust-Oleum Specialty Camouflage Spray provides a non-reflective, ultra-flat finish for maximum hiding. Applies to metal, wood, plaster or masonry. Offers long-lasting protection when applied on top of primer.
i really like this stuff and i plan on purchasing the khaki color if i can find it at the local home depot.. this deep forest can was all they had left, i purchased the last one.
