Update: While my overall review of this product was somewhat positive, I've decided to STOP using this product altogether. Over time, I just haven't been able to accept the smell--even though I imagine it must be must fainter for me than others, because I diluted mine so much---I just hate it. Also, the weather has flip flopped so much from moist to dry--my experience with the glycerin in this product acting as a moisturizing agent has been inconsistent. While I know to expect this with glycerin, I just don't have time to make adjustments as quickly as the weather can change in this season.

Cute baby! I love your hair too, I wish I could get my hair like that.. And you're so right about DAX I can't stand Dax.. Lol but my mom thinks that greasing my scalp is 'good' for my hair.. But my hair has grown a LOT without grease. :) I haven't tried carefree curl gold yet but I do have it... I just want it to make my hair curly... Perms are starting to get real annoying lol

@spiritchild16 A couple of things that will make things easier for you: Do you have any chemicals in your hair? If your hair is natural, your next step is to wet your hair and look at it while it is wet. Do you see any curls--are they little, do the clump together to make bigger curls? If you see curls there are methods you can use to help your hair freeze that way when it is dry. Tf not, you can still have curly hair but you will need to do a wet set and there are many to try.

Thank you I used it for the first time with very sensitive scalp I thought that care free gold had itching powder in it. I couldn't stop itching when i put this product in. I will be throwing it out. Cute baby.

aaw cute baby. its not good idea to scratch your scalp and I have read that that even clean scalp may itch when it is healing. Also, a shampoo with a ph of 4.5-5.5 is best bc it is the ph of heathy hair and scalp.I am looking to try care free curls line -ive not seen the gold edition actually.thanks for the review gurlie x
