it would have been fun at a derby... but that would have required a heluva lot more work than just field racing it at home.

is was a rusted junker with no brakes at all. so we used to the crush our wasted jap field racers

thats so wrong... i have an 83 cutlass 4 door i paid $350.00 for and had it for 3 years and it still runs good.

@alcamino0 not much more. I built a derby car in under 12hrs. jusr run a fuel line in the car and run the battery in the car, strip it and done, I made mine out of a 1986 caprice.

My Grandfather bought a 1980 4 door Cutlass

brand new, then my Dad had it. Had the 260. So yes, it's kind of sad to see one getting beat up. I probably would have fixed it.

Now that Mazda or whatever it was, I say yes. Beat the heck out of that thing.

it was a $60 dollar beater with no brakes.. but its engine and transmission were working great.
