I recently noticed that when charging in the car (using a standard TomTom One cable) that it didn't seem to be charging properly. After a while the orange charging light goes go out and the phone feels hot. After some investigation is seems that the cable is wired slightly different to a standard mini usb cable hence the problem. The only solution is to modify the cable (sorry, don't know full details) or buy a genuine HTC car cable. I have just ordered one today so will report back!

Hi
In TomTom, the following settings should work.
Go into "preferences" and select "gps receiver". Press "configure", choose "Other NMEA GPS receiver"
Select a baud rate of "9600"
Select "COM4"
TomTom should then connect to the GPS receiver. You can tell if it has connected even if it doesn't have a satellite lock as the round icon at the top right will spin.
Hope this helps
Richard
