Jim Ross and Paul E. Dangerously Host "Main Event"

JR and Paul E. are so great here. I always thought they were one of the best announcing teams. The babyface-heel chemistry is fun to watch.

this is the weekly Main Event show that used to air every Sunday. The show went through a number of hosts throughout the years. I always preferred Paul and Ross, though Lance Russell and Paul were also amusing as a team. I have this on one of my NWA tv discs from 89.

Paul and JR made a great team in 2001 too, the tension between them came off so real and intense. made heaps of memorable moments,

JR a couple months back on his website talked about how fun it was working with Heyman because of how Heyman was so edgy and unpredictable that he put the guys in the production truck on edge over what he would say on the air. (The comment about Trish Stratus and coming to see "Bush" in Washington DC comes to mind.). Paul Heyman is like nails on a chalkboard to some people with his personality but he can be like a natural heel which made the chemistry natural.

Paul E. is gold on the mic when he does commentary. Raw Is War didn't suffer any when Paul E. took over for the disgruntled Jerry Lawler in 2001. It would be great if he came back to wrestling. Vince, Stephanie and fucktard Brian Gewirtz are ruining Raw in 2010. I could watch this all day compared to the lame ass kids show that WWE puts on nowadays.

Isn't it funny how they became a team again in the WWE years later? Vince bought all the competition and made it his own and killed wrestling in the process.
