no your dumb, theres no sustain pedal, the keys are wooden, or some kind of synthetic material that doesn't produce any type of metalic sound, so next time you call someone dumb make sure you dont make a dumb mistake by not knowing what the fuck your talking about and ending the phrase "shut the fuck up" with a question mark

I like this song that you did and I did not notice the mist notes. You realy rock at the xylophone and I play the xylophone at my school. I wish I could rock on the xylophone .

@MrMariodave Frank's version is exactly what inspired me to learn this solo... at the time I had no clue you can play a guitar solo on another instrument...duh!

I've seen some 2.5 octave marimbas with my own eyes. They're a sad sight, to be sure, but they're out there.

Ahh... Thank you Mr. MKfulcrum. Like Bigfoot and such, they truly do exist. This is a 2 and a half octave scale, keyboard percussion instrument. Rosewood Musser Bars on an homemade frame set up like a marimba or xylophone (raised sharps/flats). These are not vibes and not metal bars, they are rosewood wooden bars... very much like a marimba! This particular gem has no resonators but, for some reason, it still records ok...very portable and fun too.
