ron is talking about the powers granted to the government in recent times that contradict the liberties of the people to first have to be prooven guilty infront of a jury of their peers before the government can punish or impose decrees on them. Ron is saying, i believe, that regulators are like military interigators..."ur guilty of doing something wrong, we dont know what, if you resist we are gana slap you"

I think understanding the context of the clip is important. I don't even know what this hearing is about exactly other than financial regulation. Hearing what the other congressmen were asking would help.

That was the first time Ron Paul didn't impress me. I still am not 100% sure what he was asking/inferring and it looked like Geithner was damn confused too.

Ron Paul seems so humble but to be honest those people won't understand because they are all payed off by the ruling elite. Educating the public i guess.

It's pretty obvious by the date that this was Geithner in front of congress promoting the newest attempt to expand the treasury's power to control businesses outside of the financial sector.
Dr. Paul is using what precious little time he has to educate Geithner on everything that is wrong about such an idea.
I thought as usual he was concise, clear, and right on the money, no pun intended.
