I was beaten by my parents when I was a kid, torn apart emotionally and physically, hounded and bullied by the kids at school, tied to a stake and set on fire as a prank, and countless other cruel tortures, and I know exactly how the sky bends right before it falls....boy do I get that last boy....frighteningly well....I emptied myself of emotion to such a point I haven't been able to cry in 18 years.....I did today.....

This is Jeremiah. From k through 5 grade. I was an unknown person, an outsider, non existed person. Whenever I tried to join a conversation, not all, but some would call me a freak or a weirdo. And even gay. I respect gay, but I'm not one. To be honest I didn't really care about my reputation, and I still don't. There's more, but in the end. I've emptied most of my emotion. Didn't cry for 3 years, didn't get angry for 2, I was never curious, was never depressed. I'm still like that now and I'm13

I showed my whole junior high this video and my asb class and I presented it to the school, ever since then, every one has been a bit nicer and they live by this poem. Just like me. Because I understand this poem, maybe it took 2 times of watching it but every time I watch it another part of me connects to it and I cry and cry. It's perfect. Thank you for inspiring me and my peers Shane. It Means a lot.
