i know i can rent the machine at homedepot but what kind of pad are u using? this is great...also anyone know if tile would be a good idea? i need something that would withstand welding

WOWOWOWOWOW!!!! i work at a hotel casino and i use this to buff marble and shampoo rugs and strip and wax floors. i got my garage im working on turning into a shop to work on some harleys. the home owners before me put this all weather blue carpet and used adhesives on it. the main area that got beat up is comming apart and the adhesive is not hoding no more, i weld and there are burn marks so i want to take that carpet off and clean whatever glue they used and bring it back to bare cement

Thanks for this really helpful video on how to remove mastic. I just wasted four hours of my life scrapping away and sanding mastic off the floor and removed maybe less then 5 sq ft. of the stuff. I can't wait to try this out! Thanks again. I thought about using that bean-e-doo stuff but I figured out it would cost $1000+ to get enough of the liquid and I have a tight budget to work with. Your a life saver!

Does this machine work with wood floors. We are wanting to remove carpet from a stage but don't know what to do to remove the glue to just paint the wood

Most likely not. Stapling plywood or Luann over it would be the most accepted method. Chemical adhesive removers might work but could detrimentally affect plywood lamination.

Scrape away from taylor tools. It has 6 carbide bits attached.

It's possible. It works on thinset mortar but if the blade gets caught it'll throw the machine or blow the bushing. A flat ocsillating blade is best for rubber or felt backings,
