  • You are always welcome in CA which will always be a state of progress and equality. Utah is welcome to live in the stone ages, but keep your religious views out of my state.

Homosexuality is natural and we are here for a reason. Heterosexuals need homosexual couples to care for kids that heterosexual couples can't. There are so many kids that need a home and we are providing that home.

Stand up for your rights. I pay taxes and deserve the EXACT rights as every other tax payer. NO ON 8!

  • Adding to my hetro couples need gay couples comment. I am not looking to bucket all heterosexual couples here but obviously the kids up for adoption in orphanages were produced by hetero couples.

Marriage is not taught in schools but if it was, I would hope that it would be taught as two loving individuals wanting to spend the rest of their lives together.

Don't deny me a right that other people have just because they are straight.

Donate and Volunteer it is your life.

  • actually in Canada, you'd be treated like a Canadian

  • I live in Great Britain and am gay. Call me ignorant if u like but I have no idea what propostion 8 is or what it is about- prob because i am British and has no effect on me. But from what you said and all the moaning I do about living in Great Britain, all i can say is thank goodness I DONT live in America!!!

  • (cont.) Your views hurt others and therefore I do not feel bad for you. If you are really a straight person who has no problem with gays, why would you be attacked? If you support gay marriage, then I support you. I'm straight and I have no problem with gays. I don't understand what you're getting at.

  • Good Job

  • my heart goes out to you. i am embarrassed and ashamed that part of this country is so blind and sick to be willing to treat any citizen this way. i am a straight citizen of california, voting no on prop 8. i am a woman who has been with a very loving man for 4 1/2 years, but i will never feel right getting married if i know i am being privileged with something that other citizens in my state are not. if prop 8 passes, marriage to me will no longer be as beautiful and meaningful.

  • nice video. My partner wanted to move to Canada a couple years back. But I beleive eventually all americans will have fundamental human rights

  • Excellent video. I wish more people here in CA could see it before Tuesday 11/4.

You're an impressive spokesman for the good side: thoughtful, sincere, passionate, articulate. I hope you'll have the chance to continue to put your skills to good use and make a difference in the world.

  • Wow. That was worded so well. Thank you for providing this reasonable and honest explanation against prop 8.

You're right, the high divorce rate is the biggest enemy of the sanctity of marriage. Not homosexuality. If someone really wanted to protect marriage, they should help provide marriage counseling to couples considering divorce. TV ads filled with lies are a waste of money.

I cannot believe that you have fewer rights than an illegal alien. That's ridiculous.
