@MisterFanwank Perhaps I should explain. If it was remade using 3D graphics like FFXIII quality, people who shun the game for being 2D would have no reason to dislike it. Evolve the game so it can be as much as an influence on people like them as it was on people like us. Im not saying it is a bad game, hell I love it! But for others of this day to love it like us, it needs to appeal to them, and 3D would be able to do that.

It seems like the character of Aerith was totally derived from this song. The GBA lyrics seem to match up at least. A girl in love with a hero who goes away, and now possibly forced to love another, but no...She'll wait for her hero forever more. Wonder if SS had planned on Aerith's character ahead of time.

@formosamortem How would adding 3D graphics improve the game? Everything that is important is clearly visible and well defined in the original. The graphics serve their purpose more than sufficiently. You're asking for fluff, not content.

@jaureguii 2D high quality graphics transmit more sentiment than 3D low quality graphics. All the graphics in FFVII were horrible except the pre rendered backgrounds and a couple of the FMVs.
