when the glue seeped through it didnt look as nice, but once u had finished it a painted/varnished it i think the glue mistake helped it, gives the guitar personality, unlike alot of guitars that all look the same ;)

@jkty776 thanks. since i have finished the guitar and its sat and did what it has done the die has faded a good bit and its not as blue. dont know what could have caused that but the area that the glue came thru is still just a s blue as ever so it looks quite odd. i have built another guitar since but didnt document it well so i didnt make a vid for it. i will be starting another build sometime soon and will try to show this one and then latest one in it as well.

i got a couple of questions, where do you get the wood and how to you stain it?

well i got the plywood at my local lowes, and the veneer i got on ebay. but for solid hardwoods you would need to find a hardwood dealer near you. you could buy some online but that way you cant be to sure what you are getting. as far as staining it, i used rit die. you just dilute it with water or alcohol and rub it on. or you could even seal the wood and use a colored tint and spray it on. easier to do a sunburst that way.
