AMD APU plays Crysis 2 on GIGABYTE A75M-UD2H mobo

First we overclock the APU, then we benchmark using 3DMark Vantage. Finally we put the new GIGABYTE A series rig through its paces with some pretty impressive frames per second on Crysis 2. @swagen107 Not really. There are still years worth of DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 games to come. All of the major game developers have been meeting DirectX 9 requirements on their big titles. This is the first "low-end standard" for DirectX 11. Something like this will be the bear minimum years from now. People thought Nvidia's Nforce IGP would be an end to low-end graphics, but that is not the case. The bar is just getting raised again -- such is the life of computer hardware and software.

I was planning on Bulldozer FX, but now I know that would've been a mistake. I know people who are selling their AM3+ boards on ebay, actually.

But AMD Fusion is a great product, and I am seriously considering it for my next system. Gonna wait for em to get better/faster tho.
