  • They're both idiots for believing in a silly ass book.

  • @shawnzeeee it's quite unfortunate that you don't realize the relevance that books have

  • Rankin is a touchy-feely Christian that likes to couch the disgusting dogmas of the Bible under soft language and euphemisms.

Fred Phelps represents the reductio ad absurdum that the Bronze Aged Myth really is.

This is nothing more than a Punch and Judy show.

  • I have to agree with Phelps on the whole hell thing, it doesn't make sense that God loves the people he sends to hell.

  • Fred Phelps has a point, and he knows what the Bible says, which most Christians do not. The Bible is against homosexuals. But the Bible also says you can stone your kids if they are bad. Do you really want to follow this Bible? Not me....I'm just done with religion altogether. I never could believe in God or all those stories/fairy tales.

  • @tweethang1 Fred Phelps reminds me of my father. Dad wasn't a religious freak, but he was full of anger, and beat his kids, and tried to control us too much. He also thought he was always right. But he also sounds like Phelps. EEk.

  • Fred Phelps reminds me of Adolf Hitler.

  • Pastor Phelps wins on cadence alone.

  • One more thing............my question undermines your point, because (logically speaking) if there is only one exception to a rule, then it is no longer a valid rule.

  • Secondly, do you really believe that God would expect naturally sinful men to choose good (something they are naturally opposed to)? Do you really think that is love? Third, scripture DEFINATELY teaches Gods sovereignty over whether or not a person believes. Read Romans 9! Also, John 6:37-44, Ephesians 1-2, John 10, 17. Also, you "pray for 'Gods' will being done" but don't want to be right? So you're saying God's not right?
