Tinga Stewart and Ninjaman - Cover Me

Born in 1955, Tinga (Neville) Stewarts musical career began in 1969, with the making of his first recording, She Is Gone, a duet with Ernest Wilson of The Clarendonians.

In 1988 Tinga collaborated with reggae dancehall great Ninjaman and topped the charts with hits "Take Time to Know Her" and "Cover Me", both of which went to No. 1 on the reggae charts.
Ninjaman was born Desmond John Ballentine on 20 January 1966, in Annotto Bay, St Mary, Jamaica. His family moved to Kingston when he was 11, and he started DJing a year later under the name Double Ugly. He changed his name to Uglyman, then Ninjaman when another artist of the same name came forward. The name Ninjaman was given to him by Killamanjaro's founder Noel Harper, who teased Desmond about his ninja-like behaviour and tendencies.
At the height of his notoriety, Ninjaman christened himself with the alternative "Original Front Tooth, Gold Tooth, Gun Pon Tooth, Don Gorgon".
