Victor Vail - "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel"

One Christmas Eve, when I was a child, my sister, Veronica, gave me a present - a book of Christmas carols, filled with beautiful songs. "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" is one - a truly haunting melody that lives in my soul.

Little did we know, way back then, that decades later, I would still have this book of carols - that I would still, every Christmas, be placing this book on my piano - playing and singing the songs within. Funny how life is - relationships have come & gone, but this book has stayed with me for decades.

Thank you, Ronnie, for a gift that keeps on giving...
