  • The song is from a persian poet, I believe, singing it are two South Africa guys.

It's called Mul'iya (meaning "The Scarf").

    I think

  • Beautiful song, except for the fact that I can understand what they are saying.

  • HOOOYAH! First Sgt. NH

  • My dad was their 1sg in the 448th in 93

  • this question is for pete

  • were u civil affairs? I spent 7 years in the military and i am thinking of joning a civil affairs reserve unit. civilian life isnt what i thought it was.

  • Hey, I was a gunner with 448 CA BN HQ in Baghdad from June 05 - May 06, we were at FOB Liberty. Were you guys on that deployment? I recognized a few of the pics, what FOB were you guys at?

  • Is Psy Ops a part of Civil Affairs?

  • Hell yeah, Civil Affairs! Thats what we do! Take pictures, kiss babies, and build stuff.

  • This touched me also. My heart breaks for all that you boys have had to endure over there. Just the dust, dirt and heat alone would break an average person. I love the photo of the Iraqi child kissing the soldier. CNN doesn't show those photos. Thank you!
