This is my AC/DC style tone. Also great for a lot other rock bands. ie: The Angels, ZZ-Top, etc
The settings are pretty simple. To get an old school distortion on the boss, use the BD-2 distortion with its drive on 0, and then overdrive it with the compressor.
The chorus effect is my standard stereo settings. I use the same settings for just about all my tones, unless im double tracking a guitar part.
The trick to getting a big tone is setting the level of the OD/DS stage to just before it clips the modulation stage. What I do is, set the level on 5, which will clip the modulator (ie: you hear crackling) and then reduce the level until the crackling stops, which is somewhere between 4 and 5.
Reverb is a matter of taste. If you want a live sound, use hall. If you want that raw album sound, then use non. Simple really.
I recommend tone modify to be "presence" for old ACDC rock/blues, and "H-S" for that larger ACDC stadium tone.
Again, try both. Have fun, and if you like it, post a video.
Tone Modify: Type=Presence
Compressor: Sustain=10 Level=10
Reverb: Hall
Overdrive: Type=BD-2 Drive=0 Bottom=10 Tone=10 Level=4.5
Modulation: Type=STCHORUS2 Rate=0 Depth=10 E.Level=10
Delay: Type=SpacePan Time=5 Feedback=0 E.Level=5
You can switch off the delay/reverb if you want or add more. It depends on if you prefer old ACDC or new ACDC.
The tone modify can also be set to "H-S" if you want a more modern rock tone. Try both settings.
Hey dude, I have tried getting this tone out of my ME50 but it just sounds really flat and powerless. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

@mikesmith1587 Unsure, but I used this setup for a gig recently (though a 800watt PA). The PA's eq was flat and its power amp was on full. I got a great snappy sound with vocals going though the same PA.
Tone Modify: Type=H-S
Compressor: OFF Reverb: OFF
Overdrive: Type=BD-2 Drive=5 Bottom=10 Tone=7 Level=4.5
Modulation: Type=STCHORUS2 Rate=0 Depth=10 E.Level=10
Delay: Type=SpacePan Time=0 Feedback=0 E.Level=4.5
Master Level: 10
I think the ME50's master sounds better on full.

@mikesmith1587 O, also I dont like the ME50's reverb much anymore. Its too dark sounding. The compressor idea (for extra overdrive) also is a little old. These days I prefer a better OD pedal like the MXR Zakk wylde or my BOSS superoverdrive

Overdrive drive to 0? I think you mean 10? :P

@kill40001000 Nope. Zero is correct. The OD/DS stage acts as an "tube style" clean output stage. I then boost the input signal using the compressor. This pushes the Blue Driver to distort in a more "old school" way.

Great tone dude. Can you suggest me how to get the same tone or a closer one with the boss ME-25?

@zaitmidemha Wish I could, but Ive never played a ME25 before. It all pretty simple. I just try every possible settings. Choose one riff like "back in black", then record it using as many settings as possible. Then play it back while walking around the house. You will stumble across the sounds eventually.
