  • Hey, did anyone who owns one of these find that the bridge pick up had a little too much treble....it seems a bit harsh for my ears on mine....but I must say...very very well made, it looks better than my USA model...perfect frets etc, neck great...

  • @stevoe1000 Thanks

  • @rlapitz did you notice the bridge pick up to be a little too bright and harsh......

  • @stevoe1000 for me is ok ;)

  • Just got one last week. FUCKING AWESOME.

  • @lee2by4 Its a good guitar man, really good quality...nothing wrong with the tuners or anything else..all the frets are just like USA models, the neck is perfect....it looks and feels just as nice as my Highway one model......it sounds like an older telecaster which its supposed to...the tones from the black keyd are similar, especially sounding like 10 AM automatic...but with the amp controls you can get pretty much any tone you want...its just weaker output levels, so you heat more amp, :)

  • @stevoe1000 Generally speaking I've heard they are pretty straight forward to change but for me personally, id never try it because I know id mess it up lol. There has to be some tutorials on youtube somewhere showing you how to swap them. But yeah im hoping to get this guitar and '

i'm gonna be switching the pickup for another one, not sure which one yet though!

  • @lee2by4 I see, thanks, its got such a good tone but I rarely use the bridge pick up, but together they sound ok, maybe change out that one sometime if I can do it easily....are they pretty easy to change, I mean straighforward...thanks for the info

  • @stevoe1000 The teles back in the 50s were made to be bright and harsh due the the fact that their recording equipment at the time wasn't very good, so the only way the guitars could cut through was to have that bright harsh sound and thats what they have recreated with these guitars :) If someones already mentioned this then im sorry haha but yeah thats why they are so bright!

  • @TheStratplayer1 Were you dropped on your head as a child? "Stars" use expensive instruments because they're given them by companies. "You cannot be inspired by crappy gear!" Red Special was made out of an old fireplace, The Beatles' Revolver album was recorded with Epiphones, Django Reinhardt used an Epiphone Zephyr for forever, even the guys from Iron Maiden use Squiers now and then on tour.
