I combined footage from Mass Effect and FF: The Spirits Within with sound/music from the trailer of new 2008 remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Enjoy, hope you like :)

Note: The website at the end is not a real website...not yet at least. I put it in because alot of teaser trailers show the website associated with the film/video game instead of the title itself.

  • Sry I hit remove instead of reply. "Really liked the preview. Great choice in combining video from Mass Effect and The Spirits Within with the audio from The Day the Earth Stood Still.

I never thought of it before, but the visuals from the movie are actually really close to those in Mass Effect, to the point where I wonder if TSW didn't have significant influence on ME."

Alot of companies now days seem to borrow from TSW, look at Gears of War for example...

  • The audio is from the movie " The day the Earth stood still " and most of the parts of this fan trailer was from the animated movie " Appleseed "

  • Actually if you bothered to read the description you'd see most of the footage is from the movie FF: The Spirits Within, not Appleseed.

  • What is the name of that song? Where can I find it?

  • The song is Imminent Impact by Distortion. It is trailer music and therefor, is not available to the public.....yet.

  • is mass effect 2 for sure comin g out eventually or do we just want something thats not gunna happen?

  • Mass Effect is a confirmed trilogy which means there's gonna be 2 and 3. 2 is already in the works.

  • Mass Effect > Halo.

This is coming from someone who put 2 solid years of gaming every day into Halo 2 and playing Halo 3 for a whole year every.WhenI played Mass Effect,it was the best game ever played.Halo is elementary.

  • Meh..not bad, but too much Final Fantasy for a ME trailer..but touche on the effort still ;)

And as to Halo VS. Mass Effect..iv played both..and thou both are awesome, with all respect to Halo's design and all.. ME to me has a slightly better story...more interesting and..i dont know..cool! :) Not to say that Master Chief dosent kick ass ;)

  • @GBallaJ You should at least play Halo 1 first. Halo 2 and 3 are garbage compared to Halo 1. Halo 1 was an experience - Halo 2 and 3 just gave me a headache because of how bad they are.

  • Very good mix

  • Final fantasy?

  • @GBallaJ Play ME 2 if you haven't already! ^_^

  • @busterfear anybody hurt by your opinion of video games shouldn't have the right to read comments on youtube lol..

i liked me1 better tho i hated the way they changed the armor system

  • Good... realy good.... Bravo...

  • Mass effect 3 will come.

i like mass effect 2 instead of mass effect 1. Even i stop played mas effect 1 inthe middle. it boring, sucks. sry if somebody hurt from my comments

  • Mate, If you do own a 360 then you will understand that Mass effect and Halo are two of our major titles, Both great games. Mass effect hsa just started their franchise halo has been in the game bussiness longer that ME, I know ur a halo gamer and ME has a greater more expansions then Halo, But you should not argue titles on Microsofts top console, instead Xbox 360>PS3 ( ME sweet game and Halo great FpS)

  • reminds me how I watched Final Fantasy movie a few years ago and was totally amazed by the animation :)
