@brknshldr I agree with about half of that statement. Hip Hop is lacking so much lyrical content these days. Hip Hop and Rap used to mean something. Used to....

FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE!!!

@brknshldr you can't disrespect an entire legacy of music based on commercial radio. i agree eminem is bullshit. but listen to "black on both sides," the mos def album these lyrics are from. or talib kweli and mos def's "black star" album. or for example the roots, or look up who these artists like. or blakroc if you like the rock/rap hybrid thing. but most rap beats go BACK decades and sample classic soul or funk and do it in insanely creative unrecognizable ways. it's tribute, not ripping off.

@brother0161 That is exactly how it fucking works. R you trying to tell me that rap beats r not sampled from other songs? ok wait, not every one, you got me there. 99% of them rip off someone else. I cant wait to hear a new hip hop song so I can hear about how much money they make, how big of a drug dealer they are, how big of a pimp, how many bitches they fuck, cars, planes, court cases, being shot, arrested, how hard they are? um, i think that about covers hip hop? eminem even sux now!
-
@brknshldr that's not even close to how hip hop works.

FOOOKIN RAD

This one by far I think works the best. Dude is pretty good, I must admit. I mean lets face it, this is how all rap songs are made really. Wait for a good song to come out, and basically take it and rap on top of it.

like if Biosteel Sports brought you here
