You call us stupid, yet you claim the invention for yourselves! The Chinese have the first documented game, called Cuju. The Romans brought they're version, called Harpastum, over to England during their occupation, where it remained throughout the middle ages, until finally in about 1848, you "Limeys" created the Cambridge rules, thus paving the way for modern football as we know it. Oh, and I've some English in my blood. Yay.

@RogueRaven17 The modern football(the British version) played today was created in England and Scotland that branched into two distinct versions called rugby football and association football. The Scottish style if the father of Brazilian football(English style is more kick and rush physical football and the Scottish is more technical teamwork football.).
If we played the ancient Roman or Chinese style it would be the laughing stock of all sports.
