His bat speed is faster than Gilly's. Stats don't do justice to the talent and courage of this man.

Kim Hughes ODI stats. 97 games, 87 innings, 6 not outs. Average 24.00 and a strike rate of 67.42. Pretty poor really. He was never my hero and upon reviewing those stats I see why now.

@wkmitchell well he's using a SS JUMBO and they had a huge sweet spot, very close to a bat these days, only a certain amount of batsmen could use them cause they weighed a TONNE!
