Mike Tyson at the Las Vegas Wranglers Game 5/14/12

Mike Tyson sounds the siren at Game 1 of the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals. Las Vegas Wranglers defeat the Florida Everblades 2-1 to take a 1-0 lead


CONTEXTUAL NOTES TO VIDEO:

Keeping in context that Mike Tyson, as a Las Vegas resident, volunteered to participate and that no implication should be made that he was compensated in any way. He was the first in what will be a series of surprise Las Vegas resident siren-crankers throughout the ECHL Kelly Cup Championship series.

Mr. Tyson was not announced on the PA as the surprise was to let the fans figure it out, which explains the delayed burst of cheers.

The microphone fell to the ice during the cranking of the siren, (a thud is heard) which explains any delay after he releases the handle.

The siren was a surprise part in the middle of the the opening to get the fans fired up before the intro video plays and the Wranglers take the ice.
