  • Wasn't Jesus headed to paradise per Luke 23:43?

  • @cathytress Because Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, he referred to himself as already being in Heaven in the form of God the father. Jesus said he was already in Heaven in John 3:13.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

The Bible is clear that Jesus' soul went to Hell for 3 days and 3 nights (Acts 2:31, Matt 12:40, Eph 4:9, etc), and Hell is not Paradise. Paradise = Heaven (2 Cor 12:2-4)

  • Great sermon. I realized long ago that if I can fit God in my head he's not god. The knowledge I have of Jesus Christ fits much better in my heart than in my head.

When I have a spiritual discussion with someone and they want me to explain God to the Nth degree I ask them if they believe in numbers. When they say yes I ask them what the last number is. If they can't tell me what the last one is how can I believe in numbers?

Explainining infinity while in the finite is impossible.

  • @sanderson1611 Dude. Dude. Dude. Dude. Dude. Dude. Acts 2:31 says He didn't go to Hell. -_____________-

  • @sanderson1611 I actually live in Gilbert, AZ. I might come to your church on a Sunday in the near future. I have a lot of respect for your conservatism and boldness. There are way too many liberal churches out there. I have a theological question though. I was wondering if you consider Mary to be the Theotokos (God-bearer). I know of a lot of Fundamentalist Baptists who consider Mary to be Christotokos, but this is heresy because it rejects the Incarnation. This heresy is called Nestorianism.

  • @sanderson1611 Thanks for clarifying that for me.

  • Wow pastor, this sermon has touched me profoundly In a way that changes my views in life and also confirms what I asked God to reveal to me and wake me up from this evil matrix world that we live in.God bless you, Your brother in Christ ,
