Revenge of the Bogeyman - UK video trailer

Extremely rare UK video trailer for Ulli Lommel's "Revenge of the Bogeyman" (AKA Revenge of the Boogeyman, Boogeyman 2).

This was a former video nasty title that got included on the Governments hitlist after its predecessor was similarly listed, though both this and the original were eventually dropped from the final list that were presecuted for obscenity.

This trailer was taken from a compilation DVD another horror fan forwarded to me.

I don't think so.

Most of Bogeyman 2 was made up of flashback footage taken from the previous film and I don't recall Al Cliver's name being listed in the credits for either.

Was the flashback footage as bad as Silent Night Deadly Night 2 as about half of that film is from the first film and the other half is almost unwatchable. Although the line "Garbage day!" is pretty classic.

Not seen SNDN2 to comment, but I'd say more than half of this was flashback footage from the first.

Incidentally, the original elements to this film have since gone missing, so the director, Uli Lommel, filmed a new version using even MORE flashback footage, which makes up virtually the whole of the films running time. This version was released as "bogeyman redux" (I think).

I bought a DVD with the original "The Bogeyman" on it and it also supposedly came with The Bogeyman 2. But for the life of me i cannot find it. I actually think i'm better off now.

I didn't like the Bogeyman, and yeah Darkangel is right about Bogeyman 2, basicly its just flashbacks of Bogeyman 1 with maybe just adding a few little more clips

The ending was how they originally going to make Silent night deadly night 3 before it was altered badly.
