A time lapse of an ice cube melting.
The ice cube was made in a regular Styrofoam cup. The total elapsed time was approximately 6 hours, and pictures were taken every 10 seconds. The time lapse is 55 seconds in duration, which effectively makes 6-7 minutes pass every second.
The video was produced in order to test my company's new camera for a time lapse of a project that we are set to start building next month. Unfortunately, the camera stopped capturing images at around the 6 hour mark, about 30 minutes before the ice was finished melting, so the demise of the ice block wasn't captured.
Special thanks goes to my artistic director James.
so the whole thing was done with pictures?

@Deeelon9 Should work out the same in the end, just with time lapses you don't need all the frames you get from straight video, so we took fewer shots in the interest of hard drive space. This was a test for a company I was working for who obviously had budget and hard drive limitations.
