This is absolutely my favorite piece by Mozart. Carelys' playing is heavenly; it transports me to a beautiful place. I get goose flesh listening to it.

Hallo BabyRN1009 ! Danke für die Blumen, aber die Wr. Philharmoniker und die Wiener Symphoniker haben mir sehr geholfen, sie haben damals so gut wie KEINE FRAUEN engagiert ! Ich mußte sie mit einer sachkundigen DIRIGENTIN (auch die erste, die das in der Hosenträger-Stadt Wien bis zum Diplom geschafft hat) der Polin Izabella Shareyko nur sammeln und hatte die besten und sie waren auch begeistert !

What I love about music is that no matter where you are from, every musician speaks the same language. These musicians are in Vienna, but it is just as if it is being played before me in Melbourne, just as fresh and beautiful as ever.

This makes my heart leap with JOY! I spent 5 years in Vienna studying clarinet ( Jettel and Schmidl) have a diploma with "excellence" but, with no womens' philharmonic, there was no opportunity or a female clarinetist; in 30 years Vienna has come a long way! Good for you; Best of luck in the future!

and does anyone have a recording of this on a Bb clarinet
