nice video but ht GoPro has better image stabilization.

I've been using standard Hero cams, but this looks more like Hero HD.

Nicely done. Mind letting us know what cameras you you use?

Due to the Oklahoman poor roads, my front left tire was very untrue, in circumference and it was twisted, once I got it retrued, the other vids were much better.

It would be good to compare with someone who has a GoPro. The car it self shakes a fair amount, due to the engine mounts etc. I was going to use the imovie stabilization, but it makes the vid look a little off. Sort of takes away some of the "grittyness" of it. Funny, I never really noticed much until you mentioned it, now that is all I can do. I might run it through imovie now and see.

I made 4 different runs and placed the camera and mic in different locations, the one on the front I had the mic actually inside the engine bay.

It is the Drift HD 170 Stealth. I chose it over the Hero, because of: LCD screen that you can use to align your shots (GoPro has a addon on screen as well), I like the remote start and stop watch, and the rotating lens is very nice as well. But the deal breaker with the Go Pro is the lack of external mic. You can use any style or type of external mic with the Drift.
