  • A number of people lost their jobs, but new opportunities are available to them if they will repurpose their skills for the jobs of the future. Also, there are a large number of us that are not members of the furniture industry and we did not lose our jobs, so we have greatly benefited from lower costs for our consumer purchases. My point is, its not fair to disadvantage one sector of the population to protect the jobs of another sector. Mexicans flood our country for jobs!

  • Algenon said that Nafta was a good for us because people can now afford furniture, but he forgot to realize that people cant afford that cheap furniture because they lost their jobs to make that furniture because their plant closed down and went to Mexico. And we as Americans wonder why Mexicans flood our boarders all, it is because we dumped loads of cheap fruits and vegetables on their farmers and put them out of business so they have no choice but to come here or starve. We need to wake up
