So why didnt you replace the cam bearings? that runs the risk of scarring up the cam and doing engine damage

@ImportLegends16 __100% 4 sure , an engine will run more efficient off dual or quad cams but a single cam is still a powerhorse<<it dont matter< single**dual**or quad cam__everythings all good__cheers buddy

@gmkillr15 Understandable, yet I for one still disagree. I just feel that an engine will always run better due to having 2 cams per bank rather than 1 per bank or an in-block design. I do know quite a bit about engines, and I've remarkably taught myself just about everything I know about them. I started around 9 years old, hasn't stopped :) I don't know everything about them lol. Though you do seem to be a bit more educated than I. And thanks for the compliment :)

@ImportLegends16 --you probably dont know a whole lot about domestics(or engines in general) if your asking a question like that___my question to you is, why not put a single stick in a v8? or a v-10 for that mattet( which the viper still does and incorperates V.V.T.)--theres not any major disadvantages to an in block design-----cheers btw sweet vids @ the texas motor speedway

LS3 only has 1 Camshaft? That's stupid. Why would anybody only put 1 cam in an engine? Especially a V8

How are bolt on gains compared to an LS7 engine? which is more capable of squeezing more power? Is it worth adding more cash for an LS7?
