Medvedev warns against unilateralism

Dmitry Medvedev has warned against single nations taking unilateral decisions on global security issues. He was speaking at the Russia-EU summit in Nice. The Russian President, his French counterpart and the EU Commission President agreed to meet again next year to hammer out a pan-European plan on security.

i'm not sure but i believe Russia is right in taking action against Georgia. What confounds me is why our government supported Georgia when Georgia massacred the South Ossetians.

Russia has the right to defend civilians. You dont see Russia invading Iraq, over staying their welcome and causing global recessions. US is scared of Russia. If they werent youd have seen them going in 'blazing saddles'.
