In the last few days of WWII an American B-29 made a landing approach at Isley Field in Saipan. The bomber could not land on the initial approach due to bad weather and was forced to circle around for another attempt. It crashed on the west side of Mt. Tapochao killing the entire crew. Today the crash site is a difficult trek deep in the jungle.

  • @ObltKG4 Thanks Obitkg4.

  • Did you ever find that machine gun you were looking for? Hull?cockpit or front of the plane?

  • @masterchieffan20 Hi Masterchieffan. I've been there a few times a year ago but haven't been back since. I would love to explore that area further but it is rather difficult to get to.

  • Best one yet. You and ALANHEATH are living my dream.

  • @600joe Thanks Joe. I'm glad you liked it.
