~Saturday, in the JB's garage~

Joe: Where's Veronica? We need to repeat.

Nick: I don't know.

Kevin: If she's not here in 10 minutes, I'll call her.

Veronica: *she ran to them* I'm here!

Joe: Cool. Now, we can start.

Veronica: Um, I'm not here for that. I wanted to tell you that I'm quiting the band.

JB: What?!

Veronica: I'm sorry guys but my parents want me to focus on my studies this semester.

Joe: I know school is important but we have this contest remember?

Veronica: I'm sorry but I can't. Bye guys. It was fun to be in that band with you *she left*

Nick: It's unbelievable.

Kevin: Yeah.

Joe: What are we gonna do now?

Nick: We need to find another girl.

Joe: It won't be easy. Veronica was very talented.

Kevin: I know. Oh, I have an idea. What don't we make a sort of casting?

Joe: That's not a bad idea.

Nick: Yeah. Let's make some sheets of paper to announce that. We'll give them at school.


~Meanwhile with Demi~

Demi's mom: Here's your new room, sweety.

Demi: *without enthusiasm* Woohoo.

Demi's mom: What is it?

Demi: Nothing. Just that we had moved again.

Demi's mom: I know it's not easy for you.

Demi: Mom, you're not a teenager anymore. You don't know what it is to make friends and then have to leave them. And this all over again.

Demi's mom: I'm sorry. It's because of my job and your father's. We're working hard.

Demi: I know.

Demi's mom: Start to unpack, sweety. You're starting school Monday by the way.

Demi: Which school?

Demi's mom: East high. I'll drive you there the first day.

Demi: Ok.

Her mom left the room and closed the door. Demi looked around. The room was filled of boxes. She sighed. She unpacked so much in her life that she could do it with her eyes closed. Right now, she didn't want to. She searched for her guitar and sat on her bed. She started to play while humming. Music was her passion and she wanted to become a singer. She had a notebook full of her own songs. Yeah, she was writing her songs. She didn't know if they were good though. She was thinking about her new school. Will it be like all the schools? Meaning with cliques? In all her old schools, she was a loser but she always had a few friends. She didn't want to be a very popular girl, just not a loser.
It's up to me, she though. She got an idea for a song and decided to write it. She called it "Who will I be". Then she unpacked.
