for me it doesnt take that long for me to memorize songs like this on piano but thats mainly cos i cant read music that fast..so i tend to memorize it cos i find it quicker and easier but thats just me and cos im wierd lol

if i dont memorize the music i end up playing my own tune =)

Grin, right! It indeed doesn't take too long to memorize 1 song - hourto 2hours depending on how difficult it is. Problem is that I've got over 120 songs uploaded so that would have taken quite a bit longer. And I can read sheetmusic pretty fast, so, this is it.

Why don't you just learn the song? it's not that hard to memorise, turning the page midsong is just hideous. But besddes that, nice playing. Try and drop those notes tho xD.

Because memorizing 150+ songs on the piano takes time I'd rather spend on other things. You're welcome to come over and turn pages for me though :)

@10milesfromnowhere: Well done! Just a question: Did you exactly use the sheet music from your link or did you change some notes? Because I am playing the same song with the same sheet music as you and it sounds a little bit different between the text passages "Then I am walking in memphis" and "I was walking with my feet" ....

Good piece but the page flipping is really annoying. Try memorizing? Not hard. But then again I do play by ear..
