Like me I drove all over looking for gold. the mineral bar is a great place, but I see in your video that you need to go up stream about a block on the other side of the river is much much better gold! that little bar your on is not a good producer. try bear river campground has good gold too

@yellowbeard420 yes i hear yah, i hit the most likly spot but i do lik to try new spots as well gold is a funny item you cant allways tell were it is? and i do go to bear river. cneck out more of my vids and you will see. thanks for the comments.

it has to be tuff, i was going to move to minn, but found out that i had to travel three states to find any gold at all. so as you can see i am still here in calif.....

Nice video scorpiotoyou. That huge boulder behind you i remember when i used to pan at iowa hill in 1984. Then the cement bridge was not there we drove across the rickety metal bridge. I see you have a terminal case of yellow fever......congratulations!!!!­!!! Thanks for removing the lead from our beloved North Fork. Anything we can do to help keep north fork beautiful. You got the best gold vids on utube by far.

@godskayakman i really love this spot i just hope that people that use it try and be careing about there prospecting.. two years ago i went down and got skunked but along the way along the river , people just tore it up with out any concern to rules and regs. i wish i had the chance to cross that bridge too, but i got the chance to cross yankee jim,s and its too cool.. like i hope, that all miners do is take all the junk from the water lead and merc most..take care and golden luck

Cheers to you for lugging that sluice box all the way to that bend. Was out there yesterday just looking and have liked that bend since I saw it on Google Earth. Wasn't sure if it was still in the ASRA or if it became private claims up there. Lots of really nice bedrock cracks along the way.

Been out panning latley? Just wondering if you have been gold panning or detecting latley. Kinda miss them. I saw you were moving out of state is that true? The water is getting ready to get hit and the gold is ready to be found.. Im going to make a video tomorrow at the feather river. Any hoot good video and kinda want some pointers on detecting for gold.
