Wrong, thunderholt. The U.S. does care about the Polar Bear and as such has proposed at the upcoming CITES meeting in March that the polar bear be given Appendix l protections, banning Canada from hunting or trading in their parts.
Furthermore, the U.S. banned trophy hunters from bringing their polar bear kills into the U.S.
