This is of Lupe's first album Food & Liquor. The first song that I heard and loved of the album. The song itself (along with the rest of the album) is amazing in the sense that it has a lot of metaphors and meaning behind each verse. In my opinion, Lupe is underated by most of the country (I know he is here in Dallas because he gets absolutely no airplay) but probably really big in the MidWest. If you haven't heard the whole album, Go Get IT!

It took about an hour and a half to make this and I didn't do the whole 4 and half minutes. Also left out some hats and crashes.

It contains a sample of "Stay with Me" by Cecil Holmes and was produced by Needlz.

This is really well just, just wanted to point out ther is an open hat every... I think 6 hits of the hi hat, and you sort of have a really quiet cymbal there. But I know it's a remake, so really well done. Did you use FL Studio?

@Nadetastic44 Nice, I've been using FL Studio for a few months to makes hip-hop beats and it's awesome! But difficult since I'm not 100% familiar with all the features and need to know some more basic music theory (scales, chord progressions).
