Jimmy Ruffin 1965 - "On The Avenue" MOTOWN-25

This is an unusual track from 1965, it was never released but it's a typical Motown sound that I guarantee will grow on you, the more you play it! Please let me hear your comments on this track, much appreciated.

Yes, simonsez0800 he certainly is! and still sings occasionally, maybe someone has seen or heard him lately, of course he was famous for singing "What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted" back in 1966, he lives in England today and is now 69 years old!

There are two of those unusual CD's that I'd recommend to Motown fans, so far, but it seems that the third one has been abandoned for some reason from what I've heard so far, what a great pity as this is an excellent idea to release the un-released tracks from Motown's "Vault" don't you think? :-)

Loved the song from the first bar. Jimmy Ruffin is much more than "Brokenhearted". I am proud to have been a member of his English fan club in the late sixties..
