Loved the song from the first bar. Jimmy Ruffin is much more than "Brokenhearted". I am proud to have been a member of his English fan club in the late sixties..

@doonker wish jimmy had a fan club, iwent to see him in Blackpool, near Manchester U.K. last October, been a fan for 40 years, his Music has brought me many years of happiness, every time he is in the England i go to see him, i will keep intouch with the reply ect, thanks Diane, and say hi to him xxx

@millalee88 hi , yes he is, well and truly alive and kikin, went to see him in Blackpool uk, with a few other good singers, went back stage to meet him, as i have been a big fan for 40 years yes, 71 this year May 7th, mine 1 week before. 55, love him, he has the most brill voice, d his recordsi colleccted sincei was15 lv Diane xxx

Yes, simonsez0800 he certainly is! and still sings occasionally, maybe someone has seen or heard him lately, of course he was famous for singing "What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted" back in 1966, he lives in England today and is now 69 years old!

Thanks for keeping me up to date doonker, it's amazing when I think back to how long I've admired Jimmy, he must have returned to Detroit now then, I'm very pleased to hear you just had dinner with him, I hope he will still sing too! he's certainly much appreciated here in the UK. There are two of those unusual CD's that I'd recommend to Motown fans, so far, but it seems that the third one has been abandoned for some reason from what I've heard so far, what a great pity as this is an excellent idea to release the un-released tracks from Motown's "Vault" don't you think? :-)
