Interesting video, again! :))
Have you thought of a way to ventilate this boom box? In order to eliminate the gas/heat build-up during charge. It could help maximize the project I think. Maybe 2 simple PC fans, on each side, could create a sufficient air flow.

There are small holes drilled in the top rear. the box is less than air tight right off the shelf. This is more of a "fire containment" in a worst case scenario, rather than a truly blast-proof set up. Just happy the batteries are out of the garage!
