  • I like this video but I would like to see the entire guitar being played.

  • @TonyHickschick You can't hear how the strumming goes on this? If you can't get the strum without a demo, you might try learning simpler songs. I'm not saying that to be a jerk. This sort of strumming should come intuitively if you spend more time with the instrument.

  • @privettricker some people have a hard time distinguishing the different sounds. With him playing over the recording it gets little cluttered sounding since it's not a 1:1 match at all times. I have a friend that can't learn anything from tabs or videos but if I show him how to do it he plays it better than I can

  • @rhcp500 That's my point. My videos aren't going to be helpful for every guitar player, since people learn in different ways and have different skill levels. I'm not trying to post videos that will be useful to everyone. That would be impossible. Also, I don't usually explain the strumming. Strumming comes naturally to me and I have trouble articulating how to strum things (and don't really have the patience to do it).

  • @ken14chang1 Thanks. I know how to play a regular barr chord with one finger over them all but I like this style it looks more flowing and cooler. It's just hard for me to do sometimes I wonder if im just holding my guitar wrong. Like try playing the first four strings of the fifth fret with your pointer, then use your ring on the 7th of the 5th and play that with your thumb muting the top. Let me know if it is tough for you please.

  • @Trouter92 Or sometimes the thumb goes over the top to mute the low E string. Again, practice practice practice~ It'll be gradually easier as you keep exercising it.

  • @Trouter92 That's another way to play the barre chord. If your hands and/or fingers are a bit too small (mine are also somewhat small), then just play with your pointer finger as the barre. That's also a bit difficult (perhaps more difficult than how privettricker does it with his thumb over the top), but for either one, just keep practicing with it and you'll get used to it. Choose whichever one is most comfortable for you. :)

  • How do you play chords like at 1:15 with your thumb around the top. I find that so difficult. I don't know if my hands are too small or maybe it is some sort of technique you need to get used to.

  • sounds good thx ill try

  • Awesome cover I love all your videos!

  • @privettricker I stand corrected. Just listened to the original Beatles recording and it definitely sounds "major". Well done on playing it correctly.

  • @CraneMaxwell You could play it as a Ab7, but it ain't minor.
