I played this bands records on many pirate stations, we jocks loved them, and, thankfully, they have not been forgotten:-)

Dont forget ISIS. This was Rock music for the 60's just like Buddy Holly would be considered Heavy Metal for the 50's because he wasnt playing gossip or country music.

There is a difference between "rock" and "rock and roll": it's more obvious now because we've seen how music evolved from 1950 to the present. Elvis, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, the Beatles, the Lovin Spoonful were "rock and roll". Blood, Sweat and Tears, Cream, etc. were "rock". And if you really wan to get technical about it, everyone I previously mentioned were amplified and/or electrified skiffle bands, jug bands or blues singers.

@akhilasraya I agree that it's not rock, but I disagree insofar as I would say that it's awful. I gather Herman's Hermits did this song too. I think they were awful as well.
