  • @Teoroy Thank you very much. Chickweed is the "draw" in the salve, it's what helps draw out anything that might cause an infection. Plantain is the true healer in the salve, it helps the body knit back together again by shrinking the tissues. So even if you can't find chickweed, plantain makes a good salve-you just have to wash the wound out really well.

  • @woodswoman783 Thank you. I enjoy your videos and your calm manner of presentation. I have my plantain soaking but have difficulties finding chickweed.:)

  • @Teoroy many people believe that narrow leaf plantain has more medicinal value than common plantain, so yes, you certainly can.;-)

  • Can we use narrow leaf plaintain? Thank you.
