Great video. Just a quick coment about heli aerodynamics.

The nose of the Heli wants to yaw left because of torque. Now, the heli, once is in a hover, it wants to drift to the left because of translating tendency due to the tail rotor . That's why you have to compensate with right cyclic to correct the drift and pedals to correct the yaw.

Hi there, firstly great videos and tanks for making them. You're giving me faith into going back into trying to learn to fly with my honey bee again. I gave up after my first couple of flights because as soon as I tried taking off the HB would go about head height then it would suddenly flip 90 degrees so it was nose up tail down then crash. Any ideas on why that would happen with no input other than throttle to get it to lift off.

Also where can I get parts for it now? Ebay only has a few.

I have a brand new one. The it rotates counter clockwise (tail to the right when facing away) and the gain is all the way up (+). What can I do?

the main rotor torque doesn't push it left, at least not as much as the tail rotor thrust :) And no, I'm not a RC heli pro, just getting into RC aviation.
