A these are not "rock crawlers" These are people who didnt have much money to put into their trucks and jig rigged them.. the first truck has shitty tires on it..

You can take that in a huyundai with enough momentum, the fj clearly did not do better seeing as it busted its shit, thats why they call it "crawling"

Hit that hill at 100kph in a VB beetle and will make it. My point. Momentum will get you there no matter what. FJ doesn't outperform crawler, just has more momentum. Can't believe they sell for over $50k in Aus. I believe fj's use prado running gear.Not real impressive in Prado so how is it better in the fj. Here in Aus we know a thing or two about 4wd's. It's funny to watch you guys argue. Different vehicles excel at different things. My 8 year old's little 70cc dirt bike would make short work of that hill in one easy try. Does that mean it's superior to a Wrangler or an FJ? No, of course not. It's just more suited to one particular task, that's all.

@MurderByFluoride toyota built the original FJ's to Willys'spec (but a little bigger with a bit more hp) at the USGovt's request in the early 50's... it's just a fact.
