joel is right. nowhere in my bible does it say to go around judging who will go to heaven or hell. just because he's a well-known pastor doesnt mean hes an angel. we aren't capable of that discernment nor do we have the right. joel says he believes that in order to get to heaven or to the Father you need to have a personal relationship with Christ. PERSONAL. joels speaking from his personal relationship with Christ. not everyone else's, whether they have one or not, as its none of his business.

Joel, please stop saying " I don't know", instead state that a Biblical text, especially where God has stated that something is right, or wrong. You are not being asked to judge but to present the Scripture and explain why God wants us to follow his Word. Be definite and show someone the text.Only those who are not able to understand the Gospel are those about whom we cannot be certain, but we can pray for their understanding and KNOW that He will judge them fairly.How often you said don't know!

I have seen people (christians) who "wooooo" those in the world with lovely sentiment and smooth words, and they are loved for it. But these same people do not speak Christ. No wonder the world loves them. It is a flam-flam gospel with zero power behind it. Spiritually dead. That may sound tough, but it is the truth. Lord forgive us where we fall into this type of pattern and have us declare your truth instead of looking for brownie points.

I dunno. Any man who when put on the spot wont BOLDLY confess that Jesus is the only way, or that what the Bible says is FACT, is a heretic to me.

This guy hems and haws because he's worried about high church attendance.

BTW, he don't PREACH what needs to be preached.

I wouldn't doubt that a large percentage of his listeners are not even saved.

I agree 100%.

Not to judge, nor confuse you, but Joel is a messenger that at times may be a bit too loving, that he blanks out in his right mind, and of course this is me defending him, but my family and I listen to him, and nothing he says is so far from scripture that I'm turned off to him. I love your opinion on the guy but

remember: being in danger of the fires of Hell are to be a turn off and should have us straying from false teaching. Not walking toward it.
